New Energy Survey Offer for Community Spaces

Find out how CSE’s new survey service could help the community spaces near you cut costs and improve comfort.

The Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) has launched a new energy survey service aimed at helping community buildings across the region become more efficient, comfortable and affordable to run.

Designed for spaces like village halls, churches and community centres, the surveys provide practical advice on reducing energy use, cutting carbon emissions and identifying improvement opportunities. Whether the building is old or modern, the service offers a useful starting point for anyone managing or supporting a shared space.

What’s involved

Each survey includes a two to three hour visit from two experienced retrofit professionals. They’ll look at how the building is performing, assess its potential for low carbon upgrades and offer clear, impartial advice you can act on.

There are different survey options depending on what you need. You can choose a simpler survey if you’re after a general overview, or go for a more detailed option that includes a written report, suggested next steps and guidance on costs and savings.
