*What counts as a bedroom?
Typically, rooms upstairs that could be used for sleeping are classed as bedrooms. This includes rooms being used as studies/offices and loft conversions. Think about how an estate agent would describe your property in terms of number of bedrooms.
Why do we include an EPC?
We're including new Energy Performance Certificates with every HEEP Survey. This ensures that the resulting HEEP report is based on accurate, up-to-date information about the home. If you do not want your EPC to be lodged on the national register, please let us know before the assessment takes place.

Am I eligble for HEEP?
HEEP’s services are available exclusively to homeowners within the West of England Combined Authority region which includes Bristol, South Gloucestershire & Bath and North East Somerset.
How long does the assessment take?
Depending on the size of your home, the assessment will take between 1.5 – 3 hours.
Why do I need an EPC?
You are required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) previously undertaken for your home, which you can check on this website: https://www.gov.uk/find-energy-certificate
The EPC provides essential data for creating the Home Energy Efficiency Plan report and its recommendations. Even if your EPC is expired, it will still provide helpful background data to inform your report. Your assessor will compare the current condition of the home with the EPC, noting any changes or updates since the last certificate was issued.
What if I live in a listed building?
