What is Connected for Warmth?

Connected for Warmth is a fully funded energy efficient programme which installs heating and insulation measures into your home to help reduce energy bills, reduce carbon emissions and make your home comfortable to live in. All work conducted on homes is free for residents, thanks to the funding which has been provided by The Warm Homes Fund, The Energy Company Obligation, The National Grid Support Fund and The Boiler Upgrade Scheme.

What Energy Efficient Measures are available?

  • Loft insulation: includes top-ups on insulation, if your loft has less than 7.5 inches of loft insulation.
  • Cavity wall insulation: once installed, there is a 25-year industry-backed Insulation Assurance Authority guarantee.
  • Heating controls: if you have a central heating system with old controls, the Connected for Warmth may be able to offer a new thermostat if loft and or/cavity wall insulation is being installed.
  • Smaller energy measures: energy saving LED lightbulbs, radiator panels, draughtproofing strips, letterbox brushes.
  • Energy advice: once measures have been installed, the installer can offer you their advice on energy saving tips and trips, with other ways to save on energy bills.
