Retrofit West has achieved accreditation with the Good Business Charter
Have you heard of the Good Business Charter? It is a simple accreditation which organisations within the UK can sign up to.
We are pleased to announce that Retrofit West has recently achieved accreditation with the Good Business Charter. This accreditation which we have signed up to, is in recognition of responsible business practices.
It measures behaviours over ten key components which are:
- Real living wage
- Fairer hours and contracts
- Employee well-being
- Employee representation
- Equality, diversity and inclusion
- Environmental responsibility
- Paying fair tax
- Commitment to customers
- Ethical sourcing and prompt payment
We feel that it is important to be accountable in the way we do business, and by gaining the Good Business Charter accreditation we are demonstrating these values to staff members, suppliers, homeowners and the environment.
The Good Business Charter is an initiative developed and overseen by the Good Business Foundation, an independent charity established by Julian Richer.
